Tyler Christopher and his wife Brienne welcomed a baby boy Saturday, October 3. The General Hospital star, who is best known for playing Nikolas Cassadine on the long-running soap opera has named the baby Greysun James. Greysun is a new spelling to us, but Grayson, the more traditional spelling, has been quickly climbing the popularity charts for the past decade.  In 2008, Grayson ranked #188 on the Social Security Administration's list of popular names.

Like many parents today, we suspect the Christophers were looking to put their own twist on a more familiar name.
