New Baby Alert: Harold Perrineau Welcomes Third Daughter Holiday Grace

New Baby Alert: Harold Perrineau Welcomes Third Daughter Holiday Grace
Fame/Flynet

It's a Holiday for Harold Perrineau! The actor, known for his roles in Lost and most recently, Zero Dark Thirty, has welcomed his third daughter with wife Brittany. They named their new little girl, born Thursday, Holiday Grace Perrineau

Holiday Grace joins big sisters Wynter Aria, born in 2008, and Aurora Robinson, already 18 years old. This is the third time that the couple has shown their interesting and trendy naming style. Holiday is not yet a popular name by itself, though Holly has been a well known choice for several decades. The most famous Holiday, is most likely Holiday Golightly (known as Holly), from Breakfast at Tiffany's

In 1995 when their first daughter Aurora was born, the name, which has been fairly popular for over a century, began to seriously pick up steam, eventually rising to its current peak at No. 183 in 2011.Winter has never been particularly popular and the least popular of all names derived from seasons (Summer being the most), but the couple put a trendy twist on it in 2008, replacing the I for a Y (popularly seen with names like Krysten and Madyson).

Holiday Grace is an interesting combination, as both names stem from religious meaning. The word Holiday originally meaning 'Holy day' and Grace, which can carry a divine conotation. However, Grace is also just a very popular middle name, with over 25 celebrity babies in possession of the middle name Grace in our database alone.

What do you think of Holiday Grace? What about the sibset of Aurora, Wynter and Holiday?

I wonder if it isn't a nod to Billie Holiday too, since there's a Hollywood trend of naming baby girls using the last name of famous female stars. Harlow, Bardot, etc.
