Melissa Joan Hart Expecting Baby No. 3 - Another Popular Name In The Works?

Melissa Joan Hart Expecting Baby No. 3 - Another Popular Name In The Works?
Fame/Flynet

This week is all about the 90s with yet another former child star expecting. Melissa Joan Hart, also known as Clarissa from Clarissa Explains It All or Sabrina from Sabrina the Teenage Witch, is pregnant with her third child with husband Mark Wilkerson.

No word yet on whether baby number three is a boy or girl, but the new addition will be joining big brothers Mason Walter, 6, and Braydon Hart, who is 4. Hart and Wilkerson have, so far, chosen pretty popular names for their boys. Mason, which had been steadily rising for a couple of decades, was ranked No. 39 in 2006 and is still flying up the charts at No. 12 in 2010. Braydon is not quite as popular, but has also been an up-and-coming name, ranked at No. 325 when Hart chose it in 2008. Both are also common English surnames now used as first names.

With this in mind, we plugged in Mason and Braydon to the Name Matchmaker for some predictions, weighing current popular names more heavily.

For boys, Carson and Landon both fit the criteria as popular surnames that are rising in popularity as first names. They also both have the -on ending just like Mason and Braydon. For something in the same vein, but with a slightly different sound, Carter could also be on the list.

Since Hart and Wilkerson haven't had a girl yet, it is possible they will go with something more creative, since current trends show parents tend to be more adventurous when naming girls. We'll take a look at both ends of the spectrum though. For popular names, Brooklyn, Peyton and Aubrey are all on the rise. Peyton has the added benefit of being a surname turned first name. On the rare side, Marin, Devyn and Leighton all seem as though they would fit in with Mason and Braydon.

Melissa Joan Hart is currently starring in ABC Family sitcom Melissa & Joey with fellow 1990s child star Joey Lawrence, who seems to have made a career out of playing characters with his real first name. Melissa was reportedly named after the Allman Brothers song "Melissa," however it was also the No. 3 most popular name at the time of her birth in 1976.

What name predictions do you have for Melissa Joan Hart's third child? What name would fit well with Braydon and Mason?
