Kanye West Wants to Name His Son After Jesus

kim kardashian baby name

Recently, Kim Kardashian revealed that she likes the name Easton for a boy, but evidently Kanye has different plans. Numerous sources are claiming that Kanye likes the name Nazareth for their son. And, of course, it doesn't really take a rocket scientist to figure out why.

A source told HollywoodLife.com, "Kanye’s had his heart set on naming their song Nazareth ... It’s the childhood home of Kanye’s savor, Jesus. In Israel, the city is ancient and historical, and he loves the fact that it is the epitome of spirituality and holiness." Sounds like a perfect name for Kanye's son to me!

To be honest, I quite like the name Nazareth -- and it's cute because both of their kids' names will begin with "N" then. A Kardashian signature. That said, the jury's still out on whether or not Kim likes the name -- and if she doesn't, it likely is a no-go.

Uniqueness of the name aside, having such a moniker is kind of a tall thing to live up to. I mean, it's where Jesus grew up, and, uh, Jesus is kind of a big deal.

Whatever Kim and Kanye choose to name their son, no doubt it will be different, surprising ... and, of course, invite all sorts of unnecessary criticism. The price you pay for being the world's most famous couple.

I definitely like Nazareth better than Easton.

Easton with a sister named North is just a joke.

North and Nazareth are both really unusual names but at least not completely comical.

I actually like Nazareth for them. I wouldn't use it, but it is 100 times better than North. It also has the cute nickname Naz. It isn't any weirder than Kanye. It also isn't like they are naming him Jesus, Christ, or Savior (those would be a bit much). It would be a good choice IMO
