Obama Gives Chrissy Teigen's Baby Name Choice a Thumbs-Up (Sorry, John)

Chrissy Teigen baby name

Baby name. You can't live without one (well, I mean, maybe ... but the government will want taxes, and needs to call you something to get 'em), and can't live with the task of picking one out. All expectant moms have been here. Do I go with my gut? Do I listen to others? What's a mama to do? Apparently, Chrissy Teigen asked President Obama for baby name advice -- which sounds good to us!

If the leader of the free world can tackle all the demands as commander in chief, yeah, a baby name shouldn't be that far-fetched.

During a recent appearance on The Late Show with Steven Colbert, Chrissy spilled the beans about her and hubby John Legend's progress on choosing a baby name.

"We change it all the time," revealed Teigen.

Admitting to Colbert that she flips and flops at any given moment, the 30-year-old mother-to-be said she asked President Obama if he liked one of their baby name ideas -- and for good reason.

"John isn't sold on the name, so I figured if he [Obama] liked it, John would be sold on it," said Teigen.

Unfortunately, it looks like the baby name jury is still out because dear old dad-to-be still doesn't like the name. (Womp, womp.) In fact, John thinks it's too Hollywood, which makes us wonder even more what the heck it is.

Chrissy, I know you don't want to give away your baby name ... but, come on, drop a hint.

Are you thinking Hollywood, like naming your daughter after a piece of fruit, or Hollywood, like former shining stars Katharine, Audrey, Bette, Greta, or Marilyn?

Or, will you take the favorite city/town approach, like London, Paris, or Cincinnati (just throwing that one out there, no judgment)?

Guess we have to wait and see.

Why all the coyness? It's just a name for Pete's sake!
