Bradley Cooper & Irina Shayk's Baby Girl's Name Gives Us Wanderlust

Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk baby

We've been holding on to our confetti ever since we found out Bradley Cooper and his girlfriend Irina Shayk welcomed their first child together last month. And now, it looks like we can celebrate as we've got some deets -- including the sex of the bundle of joy and the precious baby name!

The 42-year-old actor and the 31-year-old model, who have been dating since April 2015, became proud parents of a baby girl on March 21 with a very beautiful name: Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper. (Way to get both Mom and Dad's last names in there.)

Aww, congrats!

While the new parents are staying hush about their baby girl, we're quite taken by her name -- specifically its meaning. In case you didn't know, Lea is a Hebrew moniker that means "weary" or "to tire" -- a fitting name considering how weary and tired Mom and Dad will look getting little to no sleep, feeding baby Lea, and changing her diapers. Lea also has roots in Greek, with the meaning "bringer of good news," which could reflect the joy this little girl will bring to her parents' lives.

De Seine gives us French vibes, as Seine could be a hat tip to the Seine River in France that runs through Paris. Perhaps this was a former destination the two once visited -- or frequented -- together while in the City of Love?

And when you put the whole title together, you get Lea De Seine, or "Lea of the Seine," which is pretty darling, if you ask us.

It's cute, right?

Honestly, I'm not surprised this little girl has somewhat of a French-inspired name. Bradley speaks fluent French (his interviews are pretty awesome) and Shayk has spent a ton of time modeling in shows and photo shoots around the country. It just seems fitting for this couple -- not that I know them, of course.

Regardless of any assumed meaning behind baby Lea's name, I hope Bradley and Irina are basking in the joys of being parents and love on their daughter until the end of time.

Congrats on your mini Cooper!

Lea is French for meadow. Leah is weary.
